On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the young men of the Petersburg Kappa Youth Leadership & Development League "Petersburg Kappa League" donated $5,621.50 as well as 400 pounds of canned goods to The Hope Center at Downtown Churches United in Petersburg in support of the P.T. Taylor Walk Against Hunger and the food pantry.
On March 11, more than 150 guests, including parents, family, friends, community leaders and members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., attended this epic event. Guest speaker, Antoinette Irving, retired from the Henrico Sheriff’s Department, brought words of encouragement. She spoke on “The Impact Of Making Proper Choices.”
